Today I’ll share the recap of the second stopp of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe, which was held at Salzburgring, Austria.
During the free practice session I already had quiet a good feeling and was always in the top six of the field. I definitely had a big advantage due to preparing on the simulator. Additionally, we also had a test-day at Salzburgring, which gave me the opportunity to get used to the track.
This security also helped me in the qualifying – I claimed fourth and fifth position for the races!
During the are I improved and pushed hard to secure the overall third place and even win my class! That was of course an extra motivation to step up my game during the second one 🙂
I started the competition from fifth place and also kept this position throughout the entire race distance. This meant the dominance in my category and another victory.
Due to the rain in the third competition, I unfortunately lost the car and the race ended in the gravel for me. That’s of course something that I didn’t anticipate.
Though overall, I have to say that I’m super happy with the weekend and I can’t wait for the next one! The third stop of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe will take place on July 12 and 13 at Tor Poznan, Poland.
I hope you will keep your fingers crossed for another good result!
