After we were defeated and left without points on Saturday, it was especially important for us to be especially quick on Sunday.

Starting from seventh on the grid, my team mate Eike did his best. During the exciting first couple of minutes he lost a couple of positions but he kept up his good pace and handed me the steering wheel of our K-Racing KTM X-Bow on second position.

Due to the traffic as well as the car in front of me, which caused me to slow down towards the end of the race, I unfortunately lost one place in the last chicane. Nevertheless, I’m extremely exited for the team as they have secured a triple-podium that day.

This podium finish was incredibly important, due to my championship lead. I’ll use the next couple of weeks to get ready for the last event of the season. On October 6th and 7th, the GT4 Central European Cup will be held at the dunes of Zandvoort.

I’d like to thank my amazing team and can’t wait to push for the overall victory during the final two races.
